Investment Europe and BDifferent are undertaking an inclusive and comprehensive survey with our audience of fund selectors into what makes the best event. Not who but what. With time and compliance putting even more strain on the ability to attend conferences and events we want to determine the most important influencers when deciding what type of event fund selectors will attend. We want to understand how these requirements may differ from region to region and city to city so we, Investment Europe, can meet those needs with a tailored event calendar for 2019. Our collaboration with BDifferent offers expert involvement and an independent angle to make the results of this survey more credible. The results will be collated and analysed by BDifferent and presented back to those involved in planning, selecting and booking events for asset management companies with distribution across Europe.
Over breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea, these short interactive sessions allow you the time out without losing the entire day. Sessions will be intimate, starting with some key insights into the area of marketing practice, opening up to debate and discussion sharing best practice and learning.
Louise Hanna, Founding Director, Open Door Media Publishing
Louise started her career in financial publishing in 2002 when she joined FT Business selling classified advertising for their institutional portfolio of publications. In 2004 Louise left to join Incisive Media and sell display advertising on their flagship publication, Investment Week. Eventually Louise moved over into the events side of the business and in 2008 became Head of Event Sales for the Financial Services Division. In 2013 Louise, together with Nick Rapley led an MBO of Investment Europe from Incisive Media and set up Open Door Media Publishing. Now in it’s 5th year ODM continues to grow and strengthen its business across Europe by delivering content and conferences to key fund selectors.
Kim Bell, Founding Director, Bdifferent
Kim has spent most of her career in financial services marketing in senior client and consultancy roles. She is a Founding Director of Bdifferent, a successful financial services research consultancy, established in 2000.
Bdifferent has built a strong reputation amongst its clients in the UK and Internationally for expertise in research and consumer insights, which encompass brand perception, new product development, distribution and regulation. The company has offices in the UK and in Singapore.
Kim has a first from London University, holds the CIM (Chartered Institute of Marketing) Diploma and is a past CIM examiner and tutor.
