Academy: Developing key leadership skills

Concluding our programme, we work on individual management styles and how to motivate and create award winning teams.

Alongside developing marketing skills the Fund Marketing Academy aims to develop members by providing leadership mentoring and key personal skills to showcase your talent. By the end of the final day, one should understand how to manage your key stakeholders from MD to sales, present in the boardroom and reflect on what you want to achieve next.

Morning:

  • 0930 What are the ingredients of successful leadership, and the expectations of the marketing director and department from the CEO’s perspective – from strategy to execution
  • 0955 Jonathan Wilcocks, M&G. The evolving and business critical relationship between sales and marketing
  • 1020 Ruth Saunders, Galleon Blue. Case study examples of effective (and non effective) C-suite interactions
  • 1045 Main stage debate with morning speakers
  • 1100 Break
  • 1130 Chartered Institute of Marketing
  • 1200 Workshop: Ruth Saunders, Galleon Blue. The dos and don’ts for effective communication with senior management
  • 1300 Lunch

Afternoon:

  • 1400 Workshop: Wendy Skeen, L&D Expert. Understanding your management style & leading a motivated team
  • 1515 Workshop: Jonathan Hill, Catalyst. The powers of persuasion, influence and effective communication
